2) Eligibility & Intended Users
The Service is intended for use by adults (18+), including parents/guardians, caregivers, and other authorized adults. Children are not permitted to create accounts.
You are responsible for ensuring that any information you enter about a child or other individual is entered lawfully and with appropriate authority/consent.
3) Important Medical Disclaimer
Autism Captain is a tracking and insights tool. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment and is not a substitute for professional healthcare or clinical guidance. Always seek advice from qualified professionals for medical or clinical decisions.
If you believe someone is at immediate risk, contact local emergency services.
4) Accounts, Login Methods & Security
You may sign in using email and/or third-party login methods such as Google and Apple (where available). You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and device access, and for all activity that occurs under your account.
If you suspect unauthorized access, contact us immediately at support@autismcaptain.app.
5) Your Content
The Service may allow you to create, upload, store, and share information such as logs, notes, photos, and profile information (“User Content”).
You retain ownership of your User Content. You grant AppsConda a limited, non-exclusive license to host, store, back up, and process User Content solely to provide, operate, secure, and improve the Service and to deliver the features you request.
You represent that you have the right to upload and share your User Content and that it does not violate applicable law or others’ rights.
6) Sharing Features
The Service may allow you to share your data with other Autism Captain users. Sharing is optional and controlled by you.
- You choose who to share with. A recipient may be a caregiver, family member, clinic, professional, or any other user.
- You are responsible for selecting recipients and for the scope of information you share.
- Once shared, recipients may store or further use the information outside our control, subject to their own obligations and any agreements you have with them.
7) Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service unlawfully or in a way that violates others’ rights;
- Upload malware or attempt to hack, scrape, reverse engineer, or bypass security measures;
- Use the Service to harass, exploit, abuse, or endanger any person (including children);
- Misrepresent your identity or your authority to share data.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or pose a security risk.
8) Paid Plans (If Applicable)
If the Service offers paid features or subscriptions, pricing, billing frequency, and included features will be shown at the time of purchase. Payments may be processed by Apple App Store or Google Play; their terms, billing rules, and refund processes may apply.
9) Third-Party Services & App Stores
The Service may rely on third-party services (for example, identity/authentication services). Your use of those services may also be subject to third-party terms and policies.
10) Service Changes
We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service to improve features, maintain security, comply with law, or for operational reasons. We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will provide reasonable notice (for example, in-app notice).
11) Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. You can delete your account using the in-app delete account feature. Deleting your account may remove access to your stored data (subject to limited backup/legal retention as described in our Privacy Policy).
We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe you violated these Terms, if required by law, or to protect users and the Service.
12) Intellectual Property
The Service (including software, designs, and trademarks) is owned by AppsConda or its licensors and protected by applicable law. You receive a limited, revocable, non-transferable license to use the Service in accordance with these Terms.
13) Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, AppsConda is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of data, profits, or business.
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for claims relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim (or zero if you used a free plan).
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law (for example, liability for intentional misconduct or where mandatory consumer protection laws apply).

9.2 Backups
Residual copies of data may remain in backups for a limited time and will be deleted as backups rotate, unless retention is required by law.
10) Security
We use technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the nature of the data, such as encryption in transit (TLS), access controls, monitoring, and secure backups. No system is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information appropriately.
